According to the news in the press Zurich airport is thinking about a new name. The name "unique" ist not considered to be so unique (any longer).
From my point of view airports should be given names of local heros. I believe this is more attractive for the airport and for the visitor from abroad than just featuring the city name.
Many airports in the world were given names of local heros. Among them you can find names of Kings, Rebells, Heros, Presidents, Musicians, Artists, Saints, Popes and more.
Here you find a list of airports with names of famous people.

Question: What name should be given to Zurich airport?
I have no idea. I could give names to most other airports in Switzerland like...
Henry Dunant aéroport de Genève
Bruno Manser EuroAirport Basel
Mani Matter Airport Bern
And Zürich? Any Ideas?
